In the negative, we add not. The negative forms can be shortened into contractions. was + not = wasn't For example: I wasn't happy because you weren't at home yesterday.
For example: I am here now, but I wasn't here yesterday.
You weren't well yesterday, but you are well today.
Moby was the best student when he was a kid, but Ben wasn't. Ben and Moby were friends when they were kids and they're still friends today. |
